First Cereal!
Brooke had cereal for the first time last night. Babies are sooo fun!
Read more...Well I am at the library blogging, sure to not make a sound with my sleeping child in the stroller next to me. We just finished story time here, and Brooke actually noticed the bubbles this time. The older babies in the class were sooo cute chasing the bubbles. I noticed she was getting tired, so we'll just spend nap time here.
Well we are rolling over pros now! Brooke rolled over 3 times last Friday and hasn't stopped since. She's even halfway rolling back over to her tummy! Just like everyone else told me, all babies are different and will hit their milestones at different times. She is becoming VERY talkative and smiles at anyone who smiles at her. She's been waking up in the middle of the night several times this week. The pediatrician mentioned that waking up at night to eat is a sign that a baby is ready to start food. Exciting!
David's team lost both games last night. Apparently 12 players did not pass for the 6 weeks, so that makes it a little harder to win games. He was also the administrator for the 7th grade games on Monday, so Brooke has hardly seen Daddy since Sunday. She did wake up last night at about 10:15 very congested. David jumped at the chance to pick her up and hold her while I suctioned her nose. He rocked her to sleep and for a long time afterward. I could tell he has really missed his girl.
While she's still asleep I'm going to look for a few recipes from cookbooks here, a little idea from my friend Kimberlee.
This was from Paige, so I am doing it now....
1. Who is your man? David Wayne Bagley (ppl in MP still call him David Wayne)
2. How long have you been together? 4 yrs in November
3. How long dated? We dated a year, were engaged for 6 months, and married for over 2 yrs.
4. How old is your man? About to be the big 3-0 in November. Scratch that--David just said, "Old enough."
5. Who eats more? David but I eat more often.
6. Who said "I love you" first? David.
7. Who is taller? David by 6 inches.
8. Who sings better? Me but that is not saying much.
9. Who is smarter? I did better grade-wise, but David has an awesome memory. For example, he can name all the presidents in order, the years they served, and their parties. Plus he knows like every sports fact ever.
10. Whose temper is worse? David's
11. Who does the laundry? Me unless I forget and he needs something
12. Who takes out the garbage? 50-50
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? We both do! I sleep on my stomach, so that would put David on the right side. He sleeps on his back (until I tell him to roll over bc he's snoring), which places me on the right side TOO!
14. Who pays the bills? I do
15. Who is better with the computer? David is better at Excel, which I think was created solely to confuse me. Ok David is better with all computer things except making photo montages.
16. Who mows the lawn? Maintenance
17. Who cooks dinner? Moi
18. Who drives when you are together? David
19. Who pays when you go out? David
20. Who is most stubborn? David. I'm not stubborn! I'm not!
21. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I'm never wrong, so... j/k We rate equally on this question.
22. Whose parents do you see the most? It's about the same.
23. Who kissed who first? David kissed me on our 3rd date.
24. Who asked who out? David asked me.
25. Who proposed? David gave me a bracelet for Christmas that said, Marry Me. Then he pulled the ring out of his shirt pocket and proposed. I was so surprised and happy.
26. Who is more sensitive? me
27. Who has more friends? We probably have the same amount, although I do more with my friends.
28. Who has more siblings? Me, I'm one of 4.
29. Who wears the pants in the family? David, but he takes my advice.

Well after tonight the Blue team is 2-0! Yeah!
REd team is now 1-1. I heard a parent say as we were leaving that it was good for the boys to lose one game; it will build some character. I think so too.
Well one thing is for sure: they are lucky to have such an awesome coach.
Brooke did so well watching Daddy coach for 3 whole hours. She slept through the beggining of the first game until one crazy 8th grader decided to stand right next to a carseat full of sleeping baby and scream at the top of her lungs. And it was just to get another teeny bopper's attention; nothing was even going on in the game. Well Brooke was frightened and woke up crying. She stayed awake for the rest of that game and the next one too.
We had a busy day today, one of the high points being Ladies Bible Class at church. I am so thankful that I can be involved in this study. Not only does it keep me accountable in my reading, but I am making some new friends. I was very nervous the first time a few weeks ago when none of my familiar friends were there. I look back and realize God just wanted me to branch out and meet some new people. Probably the best part about it is I get to know some of the older ladies of our congregation. I actually feel very comfortable around older ladies. Even when I was teaching, my best friends were the older teachers. It's good to have a variety of friends.
