Week 9: iPad
Well I had a GREAT 30th Birthday! My family made it really special. One of my favorite gifts besides a hand written poem and tennis gear, was my very own iPad 2. I LOVE IT! And so do the girls. We have fun with it whenever we can. :) This is Claire using the kaleidoscope in Photo Booth.

 Week 8: Holding Hands
Today is a really beautiful day outside. Our friends invited us to an impromptu playdate at the park this morning while Brooke was at school. It melts my heart when I see my girls holding hands. So sweet!

Cousins! Brooke, Ginny, Claire, Keely
Week 7: Ginny
Friday we got to have a wonderful visit with my precious niece Ginny. The girls had so much fun together, and they played for hours. Aunt Beth and Kelly came over to spend some time with her too. It was a flood of emotions seeing her again and thinking about her journey to this point. I pray that God's will is working for the best in her life. I am hopeful that we will be able to be more involved in her life now that she will be living in Texas again.

Valentine's Day 2012

Claire, Brooke, Keely
We had a sweet Valentine's Day. It began with Daddy making heart shaped pink pancakes and sausage. Yum! The girls each got cards from Mommy & Daddy and a few fun things in a bag, including Valentine's socks. Brooke had fun at her class party. She gave princess Valentine cards with glow stick bracelet, ring, or sticker attached. She brought home a ton of Valentines and she made a special one for me. :) Directly from school we went to Jason's Deli to have our lunch date with our playgroup. We all exchanged Valentines there too. David rounded out the day by surprising me with takeout from On the Border, beautiful flowers, and chocolate covered strawberries for me and Brooke. He also got one flower each for the girls but they destroyed them a few minutes after they got them. They tried to go after my flowers too but I saved most of them.
Our Valentine's Day was full of hugs and sticky hair!
I am so blessed to have these three!

10 on the 10th

So I snagged this idea from my friend Lori. I started at 10am on the 10th, taking a picture at the top of each hour. Grandma was at our house that day, and I don't think she knew I was doing this. I must have looked kind of funny taking pictures so often of the girls. ;) Oh and I only took pics on my phone and I Instagrammed them up!
10:00AM - Playing with the "neighborhood"
11:00AM - Waiting in Carpool Line to pick up Brooke
12:00PM - Eating Lunch at the "big table"
1:00PM - Running around like crazy doing races. Yes, that's a doll carrier on Brooke's booty. Not sure why....
Also at 1:00PMish - Claire playing this game on my phone.
2:00PM - Brooke finished painting her piggy bank.
3:00PM - Popcorn bag for snack. This was shortly before they dumped both bags out on to the carpet. yay!
4:00PM - My sweet Claire watching "A Dolphin Tale".
5:00PM - I was at work....
6:00PM - I was at work....
Anyway, here's another cute pic from the morning.
And another cute pic while you wait.
7:00PM - I was at work....
8:00PM - I was at work....

9:00PM - I was on a date! With my husband! At a restaurant! :D Thanks Grandma for making this possible.
10:00PM - On our way home from our date. The moon looked pretty cool but my phone couldn't capture it..
It was a great day! I look forward to doing this again next month.

Week 6: Funny
We hadn't done this in a while. One of the joys of having a Mac Computer is the Photo Booth feature. We made many many silly pictures and even a dancing video. This is Brooke and Claire looking pretty funny and having fun.

Week 5: Effort
(Keely, Claire)
We are on Day 5 of Potty Training Bootcamp 2012. The girls have done great so far! With the help of my mom we were able to keep the girls pretty much home and potty focused for the past five days. I would even say that Keely is mostly potty trained (for #1 anyway). Claire is being a little more stubborn, but as the Elmo Potty Time video says, "Everyone learns to potty in their own way and their own time." That was a good reminder for Mommy as well! We have gone through a whole bag of Hershey kisses and there are stickers all over the place. We are now using Dum-Dums and Skittles for rewards.
This is gross but I do not want to forget it... At one point I caught Keely pouring the contents of her potty into Claire's empty potty so Claire could get a chocolate.
I heard Brooke say that she was so excited that her sisters will be big girls now. So sweet.
Up until Thursday I had been dreading potty training twins, but it is truly not as bad as I thought it would be. I can't believe my little babies will be out of diapers soon.

Week 4: Dresses
Left to Right: Keely, Claire, Brooke
I took this picture before we got in the car to go to church yesterday. These cute outfits (dresses, tights, hair accessories) are from Aunt Kelly. The boots are from Grammy. I'm so thankful for our family that love to buy the girls such cute outfits. Being a "girl mom" is so much fun!

Week 3: Claire
My sweet lovable Claire. She is the quietest of the bunch by far. She has the sweetest, softest voice most of the time. Claire loves to snuggle. She is the only one of the girls that is really attached to a security item. She loves her "Blanket-Bee", which is her ruffly animal blanket and her pillow pet bee. She is also the only one of the three that is a thumb sucker. She melts my heart all the time, like last night when I kissed her and she told me "thank you". Claire loves to throw the ball and play with her sisters. She doesn't like to walk in parking lots; she wants to be carried instead. She is doing great in speech therapy, and she looks forward to toddler story time at the library. It was fun to just focus on her for pictures today. I like this project already! This is her after her bath this afternoon, which she took alone.. a rare event around here. I always give her a choice of towels and she always chooses the duck towel. :)

Week 2: Brooke
Brooke at 4.5+ is quite the personality. She loves going to Pre-K and Bible Class, hanging out with friends, planning parties, drawing and writing, playing with her new dog, and going to the park. She likes to take charge of a situation, and she can be pretty stubborn. I pray that these qualities will serve her well someday. At the moment she is working on filling up her sticker chart to buy a "Tangled" doll. Her favorite food is still "Nac-n-Cheese". She recognizes all letter sounds and can write each when prompted. She can spell a few words from memory all by herself! I love my smart and sassy girl!

Week 1: Alike
I came across a fun idea.. a 52 week photo challenge that makes its way through the alphabet twice. I'm hoping this will help with my blogging motivation and maybe I'll even make a cute book out of it. :) So here we go, for the first week of 2012, the letter A!
