The Twins' Baby Shower

We have been blessed with so much generosity over the past few months. Not one but two showers were thrown for us, and the kindness keeps pouring in. We are so thankful. All of this has made me so excited to meet our two little gifts from God.

My wonderful friends hosted a beautiful baby shower for us.

Easter Visitors

Since I am no longer allowed to travel, visitors have been coming to us! Easter weekend, Grandma Jeanett, Aunt Diana, and cousin Avery drove in for a visit. The kids had lots of fun and enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt in the back yard.

Ginny to the Rescue!

Ginny was enjoying the beautiful weather outside just before Easter. Before long, I noticed something in her little hands. At first I thought it was a rat! Upon closer inspection, we discovered she had found a tiny baby bunny. With no sign of a mommy rabbit anywhere, we decided to carefully place him in a bowl and take him to the vet. We were relieved to find out that the baby bunny was fine, just suffering from being in shock. We left the bunny at the vet's office for later transfer to a rabbit rescue group. We hope he will grow up to be a very healthy happy rabbit thanks to his hero Ginny!
Tough to read, but this is Ginny's sticker from the vet's office. It says, "I'm a pet lover." She was very proud to wear it.

Easter Fun with Friends

The girls and I met up with some friends for a little Easter egg hunt. They had a great time--until it started raining! The fun continued later at Ava's house with a little play date.

Bluebonnets

I took some pictures of our cuties in the Texas Bluebonnets, the little patch we found anyway. It was very bright, so it was tough to get face pictures without squinting. Please vote for your favorite--the number is above the picture!

Yee Haw!

David invited us to his school this morning for a special presentation about early Texas put on for the 7th graders. These cowboys were charming, entertaining, and fun to listen to! They brought beans and cornbread from their wagon to share.
Ginny & Brooke thought the show was great too! They stood for a very long time with their horses, then they eventually galloped around. Everyone thought they were so adorable, which of course they are!

Brooke cried when we had to leave the hat and horse behind. I know what we'll be buying next!
