Easter Bunny 2011

Yesterday the girls and I headed to Collin Creek Mall to hang out as we sometimes do. We love this mall so much because there are lots of fun things to do for little kids, and it is never crowded during the day. Yesterday was one of those really great days where everyone was in a happy mood and we had a fun time together. I really treasure this time with them. We saw the Easter Bunny, grabbed some lunch in the food court, Brooke rode the train, we got to walk around and window shop, and we stayed in the play area for a while until it was time to go home and nap.

Visiting the Easter Bunny was fun. All three girls liked him and hi-fived him, but only Claire and Keely wanted to sit with him for a picture. Brooke was standing by me and trying to get the girls to smile.

I Love My Parents!

This past weekend, Mom & Dad & Kinsey (the dog) drove up for a visit. Brooke and I could hardly contain our excitement! We had a wonderful time together. Dad and I got to play some tennis and we did some serious work on the back yard while David was working. I can't wait to enjoy the back yard with the family this spring and summer. Mom was super helpful with the girls all weekend, and I felt VERY spoiled. :)

Sunday we headed to Copper Creek Playground for an Easter Egg Hunt. Claire and Keely could care less about Easter Eggs, which was something Brooke did not mind at all. Grammy hid the eggs and Brooke found them all, and that was so much fun they decided to hide and find them again. :)

Two Little Monkeys

Monday marked the babies' (if I can still call them that) 23 month birthday. Now in just a few short weeks they will be TWO!! It's hard to believe. They are telling me that they are getting to be big girls in a few ways... one way is by trying to climb out of their cribs! I remain firm on my decision to wait on moving them to big girl beds. If I have to buy two crib ~~cages~~ nets, so be it! They're going to stay in cribs for at least a little while longer. To be fair, Claire has only really gotten out of her crib on her own one time as I mentioned before. For now they just think it's funny to act like they are climbing out.

Weekend Visitors

Grandma, Aunt Diana, & Cousin Avery came for a visit over the weekend. Brooke was more than excited to see them. She even took a nap with Avery! They played well together, and after too much time together they started fighting, as cousins do. We didn't do anything too exciting; we just let the girls play. I guess I wasn't such a great picture taker because I didn't get any pictures of the girls with Grandma or Aunt Diana. Next time!

A Few More...

Friday we met our playgroup at an even better bluebonnet field to get some pictures. It was pretty crazy with all the kids running in different directions. My twins were constantly sprinting down the hill to the car for some reason. Anyway, I managed to get a few pictures amid the chaos. :)

Texas Girls, Texas Bluebonnets

I took the girls to the bluebonnet fields yesterday for some pictures. It was a really pretty day! We are going to try to take some more next week at another field. So much fun!
