Week 5: Effort
(Keely, Claire)
We are on Day 5 of Potty Training Bootcamp 2012. The girls have done great so far! With the help of my mom we were able to keep the girls pretty much home and potty focused for the past five days. I would even say that Keely is mostly potty trained (for #1 anyway). Claire is being a little more stubborn, but as the Elmo Potty Time video says, "Everyone learns to potty in their own way and their own time." That was a good reminder for Mommy as well! We have gone through a whole bag of Hershey kisses and there are stickers all over the place. We are now using Dum-Dums and Skittles for rewards.
This is gross but I do not want to forget it... At one point I caught Keely pouring the contents of her potty into Claire's empty potty so Claire could get a chocolate.
I heard Brooke say that she was so excited that her sisters will be big girls now. So sweet.
Up until Thursday I had been dreading potty training twins, but it is truly not as bad as I thought it would be. I can't believe my little babies will be out of diapers soon.

Week 4: Dresses
Left to Right: Keely, Claire, Brooke
I took this picture before we got in the car to go to church yesterday. These cute outfits (dresses, tights, hair accessories) are from Aunt Kelly. The boots are from Grammy. I'm so thankful for our family that love to buy the girls such cute outfits. Being a "girl mom" is so much fun!

Week 3: Claire
My sweet lovable Claire. She is the quietest of the bunch by far. She has the sweetest, softest voice most of the time. Claire loves to snuggle. She is the only one of the girls that is really attached to a security item. She loves her "Blanket-Bee", which is her ruffly animal blanket and her pillow pet bee. She is also the only one of the three that is a thumb sucker. She melts my heart all the time, like last night when I kissed her and she told me "thank you". Claire loves to throw the ball and play with her sisters. She doesn't like to walk in parking lots; she wants to be carried instead. She is doing great in speech therapy, and she looks forward to toddler story time at the library. It was fun to just focus on her for pictures today. I like this project already! This is her after her bath this afternoon, which she took alone.. a rare event around here. I always give her a choice of towels and she always chooses the duck towel. :)

Week 2: Brooke
Brooke at 4.5+ is quite the personality. She loves going to Pre-K and Bible Class, hanging out with friends, planning parties, drawing and writing, playing with her new dog, and going to the park. She likes to take charge of a situation, and she can be pretty stubborn. I pray that these qualities will serve her well someday. At the moment she is working on filling up her sticker chart to buy a "Tangled" doll. Her favorite food is still "Nac-n-Cheese". She recognizes all letter sounds and can write each when prompted. She can spell a few words from memory all by herself! I love my smart and sassy girl!

Week 1: Alike
I came across a fun idea.. a 52 week photo challenge that makes its way through the alphabet twice. I'm hoping this will help with my blogging motivation and maybe I'll even make a cute book out of it. :) So here we go, for the first week of 2012, the letter A!
