This Moment in Time

This is mostly for me to remember this moment in time with my girls. They are growing and changing so much, and I want to remember as much as I can about this time.

Brooke is growing up way too fast. She is aware of everything around her. She is very sweet and loving, gives out kisses and "I love you"s all the time. She is the typical big sister, and we have to talk about curbing the bossiness sometimes. But she loves her baby sisters more than anything. She really is sweet to them.
Brooke loves to play outside whenever possible. She looks forward to school days and church days with excitement.
She is curious, bright, and creative. She loves to play with dollhouses and castles, making anything ordinary into a house for her toy friends. She is at the point where she can spend a long time in her room playing with her toys.
When you ask her where she got her beautiful eyes she answers, "I got them from my Mommy, and Mommy got them from my Granddaddy."
When I sternly call her by her first and middle name--Brooke Reagan--she answers back, "Mommy Reagan!" and I can't help from laughing.
When I call her my Angel, she says that I'm her Mommy Angel.
Recently she has become more of a homebody and not quite as adventurous as she used to be. Brooke definitely has a great sense of style. Sometimes we have to compromise on what she wears in public. I pretty much let her wear whatever she wants at home.
She can recite the first eight U.S. Presidents in order. She is starting to count pretty high, and she knows all her letters and sounds. She can write her first name and now knows how to spell her last name. She makes up funny names for her dolls.
We always put her to bed in her room and usually when I wake up in the morning she is laying next to me. She has started to dislike bathtime. She is a very picky eater. Although tonight she ate more than she has in weeks; it was "breakfast for dinner" night.
I love you my Angel. You are sooo special to me.

At 20 months, Keely makes me laugh every day. She makes funny faces and talks as though I can understand her every word. She passionately babbles and sings, and tries to act like she's a much bigger girl than she is. She has quite a flare for the dramatic.
She loves to swipe Big Sister's headbands and wear them around the house. She likes to say, "1...2...3!!" and "Oh, wow!"
She loves to listen and dance to music. She has a funny little dance where she spins around backward. Her favorite songs are "The Wheels on the Bus", "If You're Happy & You Know It" and any song from Yo Gabba Gabba.
One of her favorite things to do is to put on shoes (belonging to anyone) and prance around the house.
She gets really excited when Daddy comes home from work. She loves to go in the car (but not necessarily to be strapped into her car seat).
Keely is a very happy girl. She is such a bright light in our home. I love you so very much Keely Bear.

Claire is generally a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of girl. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. Her favorite thing is to be picked up and spinned around.
She is definitely the most mild mannered of the three. She is also the most likely to get her toys swiped by sisters, so I have to jump in and protect her sometimes.
She is the only one of the kids that is a thumb sucker, but she only does this at night while her face is snuggled up to her blanket.
She is cautious in new situations, but once she's warmed up she becomes more comfortable and can be herself. She loves to climb on furniture. She likes to pretend to talk on the phone a lot. She says, "Hello? Oh No! Bye-Bye." It's pretty funny.
She also loves music and dancing. She likes to push her baby doll in her stroller and carry her baby doll around.
I love my sweet Claire. She warms my heart every day.

Sometimes I feel like this time is going by faster than it should because we have so many little ones. Our house can be pretty chaotic at times! On the other hand I think it is good for the girls to be so close in age because they already love each other so much.
I love you girls! I am so thankful for you!
