Friends, a Princess, and a Prayer Request

Brooke and I took a quick trip to Grammy & Grandpa's house this weekend. I was happy to get together with my childhood-to-grown-up friends in Austin for dinner, and Brooke was thrilled to play at the G-Parents' house.

Another reason for the visit was to spend some time with my cousin Rose. She had her first baby on Christmas Eve, a little boy named Alexander. He had some health issues and is now home and healthy, but Rose is now very sick after her difficult C-section delivery. She developed a very serious infection, and is now unconscious on a respirator in the ICU. It's going to be a long road to recovery for her. You might remember we had a baby shower for her and my cousin Tracy around Thanksgiving. Please keep Rose and her family in your prayers.

Also please pray for a family from my moms of multiples group. Their terminally ill triplet daughter passed away yesterday. She was almost two years old. :(
